It is difficult for me to articulate how great of a realtor/agent Jane Sorenti was for my family when we sold our home in Falmouth this year. She went above and beyond our expectations, and just did a fantastic job getting our house sold. You would be very fortunate to have her in your corner representing you, and I hope I can adequately explain why below. Jane’s knowledge of her field and the Cape market is unparalleled. I had never sold a home on the Cape before, and assumed incorrectly that the housing market was similar to the housing market in most other cities/towns. It is not, and it was incredibly beneficial to have a realtor that understood this. This provided us piece of mind throughout the process, and also allowed us to maximize our return on the sale by not being too reactionary. I doubt you will find someone that will work as hard as Jane does to sell your home. I was selling a family home for an elderly parent that now lives in FL. Since we are not local, Jane organized cleaners and a handyman to take care of a few minor tasks to get the house ready to put on the market. When our house did not sell within the first few weeks as we had hoped, Jane was not deterred and continued to aggressively market our place with open houses almost every weekend, sometimes on both days. When our house did get an offer, I ended up with a sizable pile of trash on moving day that I did not plan well to deal with (Uhaul was already full). Jane saved the day and was beyond (way beyond!) generous making a trip to the dump for me. Finally, and you are likely able to glean this from the above, but Jane is just an incredibly nice, knowledgeable person that really is invested in your sale or purchase. Not being local, communication was very important to me. Jane responded to all emails or calls quickly and accurately. When we talked about things like a price reduction, it was a collaborative effort and I never felt like my opinions or concerns were discounted, even though I am nowhere near the expert that she is. When we did get an offer, she worked overtime with our stingy HOA to ensure no issues would pop up and complicate the closing. She did it all, and did it well. We were very fortunate to have Jane representing us and I know for certain she alleviated an enormous amount of stress from the process for us. We will always be grateful for her efforts, and could not recommend her more highly, you will not be disappointed.

Me and my husband were looking to purchase a summer home in Falmouth, Ma. We started our search in February of 2009. We met Jane after I called her number from a yard sign to show us a house she had listed. Jane was very friendly and made us feel comfortable, there was an ease in which she showed us that property and others that made us instantly relaxed. Jane’s knowledge of the area and the feel of the current market were impressive. There was absolutely NO pressure on us to buy from her, we continued to work with her on and off throughout the month of March (2009) As it turned out we ended up finding a house that was listed with another broker but we called Jane to get us into it and for her to represent us as a “buyers agent”. We had no commitment to Jane ,and we could have negotiated a price with that listing agent, but we knew that we needed a local broker who would work in our best interest (and she did) and be HONEST. We purchased our house in June of 2009 and couldn’t be happier. We were so satisfied with our experience that we referred our best friends to Jane and she found them a gorgeous waterfront home last summer (2010).
